FAQ
Questions, answered
Everything students ask us about booking, levels, what to bring, payment and cancelling.
How do I book a class?
Go to Book a Class, choose a class, pick a day and the time it runs. One booking holds one place, and your confirmation arrives by email straight away. Coming with a friend? Make one booking each.
I have never done this. Where do I start?
Beginner Yoga, or Reformer Foundations if you want to try the machines. Tell your teacher it’s your first time and they will look after you.
How do I pay?
At the front desk before class, by cash, card or QRIS. There is nothing to pay online. Class packs and monthly passes are sold at the desk too.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, a water bottle and a towel if you like. Mats and props are provided. Grip socks are required on the reformers and sold at the desk.
The class I want is full. What now?
Full classes disappear from the booking form, and a place reappears as soon as someone cancels. Check back, or call the desk on the day.
Is the shala really open-air?
Yes, with a roof, a breeze and sometimes a rooster. If the rain gets loud we lower the side blinds and carry on. The reformer room is air-conditioned.
Can I come if I am pregnant or injured?
Usually, yes. Talk to your doctor first, then tell your teacher before class. A private session is the best way to start after an injury.
Do you close for Nyepi?
Yes. All of Bali stops for the Day of Silence once a year, usually in March, and so do we. Dates go up on the site and at the desk.
How far ahead can I book?
Up to two weeks ahead online. For a group or a retreat, call the front desk.
How do I cancel?
Use the link in your confirmation email up to 6 hours before class. After that, or if you don’t show up, we may charge for the class before your next booking.
